Kill the Incarnation of Fear and Start Unlocking Exceptional Support Gems

The Incarnation of Fear is one of three endgame bosses you need to beat in Path of Exile Mirage and it is not optional if you actually want to use the new Exceptional Support Gem system. Defeat Fear, Neglect and Dread and you get the Originator Voidstone. Socket that and specific Atlas bosses start dropping Exceptional Supports, the gems that replaced the entire Awakened Support system in 3.28.

WHAT IS THE INCARNATION OF FEAR IN POE MIRAGE?

It is one of three new endgame pinnacle bosses introduced in Path of Exile 3.28 Mirage alongside the Incarnation of Neglect and the Incarnation of Dread. Defeating all three rewards the Originator Voidstone which unlocks Exceptional Support Gem drops from specific Atlas bosses across the endgame.

WHY DO I NEED TO KILL IT?

The Originator Voidstone requires all three Incarnation kills to obtain. Without it you cannot access Exceptional Support Gems, the system that replaced Awakened Supports entirely in Mirage. These gems are central to endgame build completion in 3.28.
