Algeth'ar Academy is a Dragonflight dungeon set in an ancient school for dragons in Thaldraszus. It features four bosses: Overgrown Ancient, Crawth, Vexamus and Echo of Doragosa. The dungeon returns to the M+ rotation in Midnight Season 1 alongside Seat of the Triumvirate, Pit of Saron and Skyreach.

M+ keys award Dawncrests and gear that scale with key level. Higher keys award better Dawncrests and higher item level gear. All key levels contribute to Great Vault progress and M+ rating.

The dungeon has several mechanics that snowball if handled poorly. Vexamus's orbs explode for heavy damage if they reach the boss. Echo of Doragosa fills the room with arcane rifts if players take too many stacks. The Overgrown Ancient spawns adds that overwhelm groups without strong AoE. Crawth's dodging mechanics catch players off guard.
